Organized by Organizing Committee of Eleventh National Games, The First Network Sports Games in Shandong Province, undertook by the Jinan Municipal Sports Bureau, Jinan City Radio and Television Bureau, Jinan Daily Group, Dazhong Network Company, Taishan Sports Industry Group, was held in September, 2009. That is on the eve of the opening ceremony of National Games.

The Games used completely independent intellectual property rights from that Taishan Sports Industry Group and the Chinese Academy of Sciences have jointly developed. As an international leading online sports platform, the form and content are both the first time in the history of National Games. This is innovative practice embodying the concept of "nation-wide games with science and technology".

In order to improve the participation of the masses, the organizing committee of the first network sport games in Shandong Province, established network fitness practice fields in 10 communities, the provincial Science & Technology Museum, municipal Children's Palace in Jinan, which is long term free for citizens to enjoy the charm of fitness with science and technology. 2009-8-6
